We are manufacturers of chemical auxiliaries for the above-mentioned industries.
Our product range is divided into Release Agents, PU Colour Pastes, Adhesives, Finish, Paints & Varnishes, In-Mould-Coating.

As a medium-sized family owend enterprise, we have the necessary flexibility to respond quickly to customer requests and to find efficient ways to problem solving. Due to our subsidiaries, sales offices and distribution partner, we can guarantee to our customers optimal advice and support almost worldwide.

Research and Development

For more than a century, our team of chemists has been dedicated to the continuous research, development and optimisation of products in modern laboratory facilities. Our focus is on customised solutions for the footwear-, automotive-, plastics-, furniture- and techical industry.

Thanks to our flexible production methods, we can react quickly and reliably to individual customer requirements and deliver products of the highest quality. Our efficient operational infrastructure enables us to optimally realise even smaller orders.

An international team of application engineers is available to support product presentations and launches. These experts accompany our customers worldwide through the entire process - from the initial idea to successful implementation - ensuring a smooth transition and maximum customer satisfaction.

Company History

Keck was founded in 1900 in Pirmasens, initially as a small company producing auxiliary products for the shoe industry. In the 1960s, when the shoe industry experienced a real boom, the demand for our products increased. This prompted us to move to our current location in the industrial estate in Pirmasens, where we continuously expanded our product range. In addition to the original auxiliary materials for the shoe industry, release agents, lacquers and later adhesives were added.

With growing demand and an increasing market presence, we decided in 1975 to found a subsidiary in Spain, Keck-Espana, with headquarter in Alicante. This was followed five years later by the opening of our french subsidiary Keck Chimie in Ingwiller. These expansions helped us to respond to increasing international demand and ensure our product availability.

From our humble origins in a residential neighbourhood to our modern location today, we have always adapted to changes in the market and the requirements of the industry. As a medium-sized company, we value the flexibility offered by flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes. At the same time, we are aware that working in a production environment requires constant adaptation in order to fulfil the high quality and efficiency requirements.

We are proud to be certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 and to hold the Ecovadis Gold Medal. These awards confirm our commitment to continuous improvement - both in product quality and in the sustainability of our processes. At the same time, we never lose sight of the fact that the balance between efficiency, resource management and environmental awareness is of crucial importance, especially in a production company.

Quality – Our claim to excellence

Manufacturing high-quality products and ensuring consistently high quality are at the centre of everything we do at Keck. We focus on the continuous optimisation of our production processes to ensure that our products always meet the highest standards. This starts with the selection of our raw materials: We source these exclusively from renowned manufacturers whose quality we trust.

Our quality assurance covers the entire production process - from receipt of the raw materials through every stage of production to the final inspection of the finished product. All our products fulfil the REACH requirements in accordance with Regulation 1907/2006/EC.

We use modern analytical methods and the most advanced testing equipment to ensure product quality. Our chemists work with a variety of instruments, including gas chromatographs, IR spectrometers, xenotesters, viscometers and colourimeter, to name but a few. This precise and meticulous quality control gives our customers the necessary security and confidence in the performance of our products.

Environment – Responsibility for the Future

Sustainability and environmental protection are essential components of Keck's corporate philosophy. The protection of nature and the health and safety of our employees and customers are our top priority. We continuously react to the changing legal requirements and adapt our processes to the current environmental specifications.

In recent years, we have strongly promoted the development and marketing of environmentally friendly products. We see this not only as a reaction to market requirements, but also as part of our corporate responsibility. Our aim is to make an active contribution to environmental protection through sustainable innovations.
